HMS Inc. will open orders for mass-production SiNGRAY G2 on 10 October 2026, followed by its official launch at the Augmented Enterprise Summit, 13–15 October.
The device is now entering commercial mass production. To place an order, contact an authorized G2 distributor and provide the deployment country, intended application, required quantity and target timeline. The distributor will issue a quotation covering hardware configuration, software, accessories and services, with the delivery schedule confirmed for each order.
2What is supplied
2.1Hardware
The standard package contains the SiNGRAY G2 headset, an adjustable head belt, a carrying case, and a fast battery charger. Two kit configurations are available:
- Single-Battery Kit — includes one battery.
- Dual-Battery Kit — includes two batteries, allowing one battery to power the device while the other charges.
Storage configuration and exact package contents are confirmed in the quotation and packing list for each order.
2.2Software
The device is supplied with its Android-based operating system and the HMS system software, together with access to SiNGRAY G2 Configure for authorized administrators.
Applications are not included as standard. They may be licensed from HMS software partners or developed by customers using the SiNGRAY Native SDK or the built-in OpenXR runtime. For HMS and ISV bundled offerings, please contact an authorized G2 distributor. The distributor's quotation will specify the software license, services, and support included in each offer.
2.3Developer support
HMS offers optional developer support for teams building or migrating applications to SiNGRAY G2. The service provides project-specific technical assistance and access to relevant developer documentation.
Developer support is offered separately from the hardware. Its scope and terms are confirmed with HMS or through the authorized distributor.
3G2 Launch 100 program
The G2 Launch 100 program runs alongside the opening of orders. Existing customer relationships and procurement paths stay as they are, and the program adds no separate purchasing step.
3.1What it is
The program is designed for the first 100 enterprise customers of the SiNGRAY G2. HMS will engage with this group as the platform evolves, using their operational feedback to help inform the next generation of products.
3.2What members receive
- Priority allocation. Launch 100 orders receive priority within the initial production allocation.
- A direct connection. A named HMS contact for ongoing program coordination, product feedback, and roadmap communication. Commercial matters and license support services continue through the authorized distributor under the applicable agreement.
- Product advisory participation. Invitations to private product-advisory sessions with the HMS product team, where members can share operational requirements and provide input on the next-generation platform. Participation is optional and carries no obligation.
3.3Why it matters
Industrial AR deployment requires long-term manufacturer engagement. Launch 100 gives customers a direct channel for product feedback, roadmap dialogue, and future platform planning.

Binocular Sony Micro-OLED displays at 90 Hz and a 51° diagonal field of view present text and 3D content clearly; 6DoF visual SLAM, quad fisheye cameras, ToF depth sensing and a 1000 Hz IMU keep digital content aligned to the physical asset.
A Qualcomm QCS8550 processor with a dedicated Intel Movidius Myriad X edge AI processor supports on-device perception, rendering and inference without a host PC. IP65 protection and a hot-swappable battery enable continuous operation throughout the working shift.

Remote Assistance

When an on-site technician encounters a problem beyond the documented procedure, they can open a live session with a remote expert who sees the equipment from the technician's own point of view and places visual annotations directly within their field of view. This enables teams to diagnose and resolve issues during the same visit, without waiting for a specialist to travel to the site.
What G2 contributes. The 8 MP autofocus camera and stereo audio transmit the technician's point of view and voice to the remote expert. Spatial tracking holds the expert's annotations anchored to the component, while hands-free interaction allows the technician to keep both hands on the task throughout.
Guided Work and Inspection

A procedure previously held in paper manuals, PDFs or documented expert knowledge can be delivered step by step within the worker's field of view. These may include assembly sequences, maintenance routines, inspection checkpoints, parts identification and pick confirmation. Instructions appear in context at the relevant component, while evidence can be recorded against the work order as the operator proceeds.
What G2 contributes. 6DoF spatial tracking anchors instructions and checkpoints to the physical component. Operators can advance the sequence using hand tracking or physical buttons, without touching a screen or removing gloves. The RGB camera captures evidence from the operator's own point of view. Compatible applications can run directly on the device, with or without a network connection.
Immersive Training and Demonstration

New operators, service engineers and customers can become familiar with equipment before, or instead of, working on the live machine. Interactive instructions and 3D content can be overlaid on the physical equipment — or on an empty workspace when the equipment is not available. This allows teams to rehearse procedures, practice safety scenarios, and demonstrate products at customer sites and trade shows.
What G2 contributes. The binocular display renders a spatial 3D model with natural depth and scale. Standalone operation allows sessions to take place beside the machine, in a training room, or at a customer site. The IP65-rated enclosure supports training on the production floor.
Spatial Visualization and Digital Twin

Digital models — including machines, assemblies, buildings, and facility layouts — can be reviewed at full scale and aligned with the physical space they represent. 4.7Software and development
Device operating system
SiNGRAY G2 runs an Android-based operating system built on Android 15 AOSP. This platform provides the foundation for enterprise enrollment, security, application management, and software updates through compatible mobile device management solutions — similar to the management of enterprise phones or tablets.

4.8Device management
SiNGRAY G2 is MDM-ready. Three routes are available for provisioning, deployment and updates.
- SiNGRAY G2 Configure. A Windows application for authorized administrators supporting application installation, firmware and system updates, device information and diagnostic logs, Wi-Fi configuration, file and media management, and RTSP live streaming.
- Direct installation. Development teams can install applications through ADB using their existing Android deployment workflow.
- Enterprise MDM platforms. ArborXR publishes a dedicated G2 enrollment guide using its Device Setup App with Device Group or Enroll Only. ManageXR provides generic Android device guidance. Microsoft Intune validation is in progress. Feature coverage differs by platform and is still being completed; the G2-specific scope is confirmed for each deployment. One MDM platform is selected at first boot, before other software is installed.

What is SiNGRAY G2?

Is it optical see-through or camera passthrough?

How is it different from assisted-reality smart glasses?
Assisted-reality smart glasses are typically monocular and show 2D content on a fixed display, which suits structured, video-based workflows. SiNGRAY G2 is binocular and tracks its own position in the environment with 6DoF visual SLAM, so it can anchor instructions to a component, overlay digital twins and support spatial collaboration.
Is SiNGRAY G2 a replacement for HoloLens 2?
SiNGRAY G2 is built for the same class of enterprise work. For teams whose HoloLens 2 fleets are reaching end of life, it is a current hardware option from a different manufacturer. Existing applications are migrated and tested on G2 rather than installed directly.
How long does the battery last, and can it be changed during work?
Runtime depends on the application and display settings. The 2500 mAh / 7.6 V battery pack is hot-swappable. When the pack is replaced according to the user manual, backup power keeps the device running. With the Dual-Battery Kit, one battery can power the device while the other charges.
Can it be used outdoors or in bright light?
The display reaches 1,000 cd/m² peak brightness. The electrochromic lens adjusts transparency to keep digital content readable as lighting conditions change. Suitability for a specific site is confirmed during evaluation.
Can it be worn with PPE or prescription glasses?
Yes. The device is designed to accommodate personal protective equipment and is compatible with prescription glasses.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Compatible applications run directly on the device. Network access is needed only for features that require it, such as remote assistance or cloud content.
8.2Software and compatibility
Which operating system does it run?
An Android-based operating system built on Android 15 AOSP. It provides the foundation for enterprise enrollment, security, application management and software updates through compatible mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
Which software is included?
The device is supplied with its Android-based operating system and the HMS system software, together with access to SiNGRAY G2 Configure for authorized administrators. Applications are not included as standard. They are licensed from HMS software partners or developed by customers using the SiNGRAY Native SDK or the built-in OpenXR runtime. For bundled offerings, the distributor's quotation specifies the software licenses, services and support included.
Can our existing AR application run on G2?
Existing applications are migrated rather than installed directly. Each application is reviewed against the G2 configuration and then tested on the device. The review covers the engine version, required OpenXR extensions, input model and dependent services. Share the application details with your distributor or HMS to start this process.
Which development environments are supported?
OpenXR through the built-in runtime, Unity, and the SiNGRAY Native SDK. Developer documentation and SDK access are provided by HMS through ar-support@hms-global.com. Project-specific technical assistance is available through the optional developer support service.
Which device-management platforms are supported?
ArborXR publishes a dedicated G2 enrollment guide. ManageXR provides generic Android device guidance. Microsoft Intune validation is in progress. Feature coverage differs by platform and is still being completed; the G2-specific scope is confirmed for each deployment. SiNGRAY G2 Configure is also available for authorized administrators. One MDM platform is selected at first boot.
Does it support Microsoft Intune?
Microsoft Intune validation is in progress. Contact HMS for the current status before planning an Intune-managed deployment.
8.3Deployment
What is in the box?
The SiNGRAY G2 headset, an adjustable head belt, a carrying case and a fast battery charger, with one battery in the Single-Battery Kit or two in the Dual-Battery Kit. Storage configuration and exact contents are confirmed on the quotation and packing list for each order.
Is SiNGRAY G2 certified for our market?
Regulatory information applicable to a specific unit and market is provided with the product and on its labeling. Ask your distributor for the certification status covering your deployment country before ordering.
Where is it manufactured?
Final assembly, calibration, firmware installation and outbound quality assurance are performed in Japan.
What warranty and support are included?
Warranty, RMA and commercial support are provided through the authorized distributor for your market. Developer support is a separate, optional service from HMS.

When can we order?
Mass-production orders open on 10 October 2026, ahead of the official launch at the Augmented Enterprise Summit on 13–15 October. Delivery windows are confirmed for each order.
What is the price?
Pricing is quoted by the authorized distributor for your market and configuration. The quotation covers hardware configuration, software, accessories and services.
Who do we buy from?
From an authorized G2 distributor. If you do not yet work with one, HMS can route your inquiry to the appropriate distributor for your market.
What is the G2 Launch 100 program?
An HMS program for the first 100 enterprise customers of the SiNGRAY G2, running alongside the opening of orders. Members receive priority within the initial production allocation, a named HMS contact for program coordination and product feedback, and invitations to private product-advisory sessions on the next-generation platform. The program adds no separate purchasing step. Participation criteria and registration details will be issued separately.
